This was Justice's first fishing trip. Captain Charlie let him feel right at home. First by providing him with a life jacket, and then by showing him the beautiful Florida seascapes. He was able to see fish jumping out of the water. He especially loved feeling the wind in his hair as we cruised around on the boat. Fishing was an additional treat. Even though he didn't catch anything Captain Charlie kept him enthralled with the casting and the quick, quick, slow of reeling the line back in. I think that Justice believed he caught the little shrimp on the line he was using for bait.
If you have an autistic child and would like to trying fishing, Justice 4 Autism highly recommends Captain Charlie's Fish Tale Charters. It is not a huge party fishing boat which can be overwhelming for a child on the spectrum. Also you will have a personal experience that is sure to please every fisherman.

Charter Information
I have been fishing the Indian River Lagoon for over twenty-five years. Enjoy a day on the flats, fishing for redfish, snook, trout or tarpon, while enjoying the scenic waters on the East Coast of Florida. Fishing the waters of Stuart, Port St. Lucie, Fort Pierce, Vero Beach, Jensen Beach and Sebastian. Enjoy light tackle fishing on the Indian or St Lucie River along the famous Treasure Coast of Florida. There's always the opportunity to see dolphin, manatee and other wildlife among the mangroves and islands of the river.
No experience is necessary! We welcome the novice to the experienced angler. Children are always welcome. Learn to fish the shallow flats with an assortment of baits and lures. Light tackle is our specialty. You can bring your own equipment if you have a favorite rod/reel or lures that you want to try on the Indian River. We generally leave the dock between 6:00 - 7:00 am, but are very flexible to adjustments for morning or afternoon adventures on the water.
Located in St. Lucie County on the east coast of Florida, we will be leaving out of Fort Pierce, Vero Beach or Jensen Beach, Florida. You will fish along the Indian River, targeting redfish, snook, trout and other saltwater fish that inhabit the intercoastal waterway of the Treasure Coast.

Half day and full day charters available. Fish with okuma rods & reels and Rogue rods. All licenses, tackle and baits are included. USCG licensed and insured captain. You will fish aboard my 18' Key West flats boat with plenty of room to enjoy the day. All you need to bring is your sunglasses!

2010 Rates:
1/2 Day of fishing (4-5 hours) - 1 or 2 anglers - $300 3 anglers - $350
Full Day of fishing (8 hours) - 1 or 2 anglers - $400 3 anglers - $450
A deposit of $50 dollars is required to reserve a date in advance, which is refundable if the charter is cancelled 48 hours in advance of the scheduled date. It is also refundable if the trip is cancelled due to dangerous weather conditions at the captain's discretion.
